Our New Logo!

Our new logo is currently under revision by a Disney artist, Joe Yakovetic, in Southern California. We think it looks great and a few revisions include a different tractor, with smaller wheels instead of a track, snow covered mountains in the background, a wheat sheath in the left foreground and perhaps a sun. Let us know what you think.

Joe's wife Sami, suggested that we have a name change or perhaps another name to go by. Wenatchee Valley Harvest For The Hungry! The board members like the name for several reasons.

• The word gleaners gives the impression that we actually go into the fields to 'glean' the produce. Many people are not aware what the term actually means and are confused about the term.
• The word Harvest, is a more positive term, and has a nice ring to it.
